Is it vegan to use fossil fuels?

No. If you want to protect the animals of this earth (not to mention us) then the burning of fossil fuels is definitely not only not vegan, it is in the long run anti-us. Burning fossil fuels puts massive quantities of CO2 into the air causing Global Warming. read more

Since most fossil fuels are probably derived from ancient algae, most likely it is perfectly vegan via strict definition, though it probably is inimical to the reasons most people choose veganism (lessening their impact upon the environment). read more
