You are incorrect. Just take a look at the 10 worst cars for rust lists. Lots of new cars have huge problems with rust. Rust proofing stops or greatly slows it down. If you’re going to keep the car, and you live where the roads are salted, rust proof it with a “wet” product every year. Especially important with the underbody. read more
