Pros: 1. More national prestige. The two schools seem to be on even ground when it comes to prestige in Virginia but it seems like UVA would be more prestigious outside of VA. 2. read more
While you are right that they are both great schools, UVA is ranked a little higher. There are a few majors where it is a clear choice. For example, there are several majors not offered at WIlliam and Mary -- like Engineering, Nursing or Architecture. read more
