Georgia Tech is a fairly large school in the north area of the city of Atlanta. Atlanta was not built around the college like at so many other universities, so it is not really a college town. Georgia Tech has a rich legacy of students, many of whom are active alumni. read more

The challenge is that, due to the nature of the student population as a whole (it's Engineering-focused, there are more introverts, etc.), there's a larger percentage of kids in that last bucket, and in the past they've been somewhat responsible for Tech's perceptions. read more
