Where did Russian jewels go after the revolution?

However, Russia was broke after the Revolution and a lot of the state diamond collection was sold for cash in the years immediately following the revolution. They kept the best stuff, but the bulk diamonds and less valuable material were pretty much all gone by the early 1920s. read more
