Which is better: reading fiction or nonfiction books?

When you read a fiction you are simply reading through some ones imagination. That does not mean that the wild imagination does not hold any knowledge. It's your preference in choosing to read which whether it be fiction or nonfiction. Personally, I prefer reading fiction to nonfiction but still I can't say reading fiction is better than reading nonfiction. I have come across some interesting fictions.
