Mainly because child deaths are far more likely to evoke outrage. Outrage grabs eyeballs. More eyeballs = more revenue for news outlets. Most adults have committed as least a few selfish or condemnable acts in their life. Most children have yet to do so, even though chances are they will - it just hasn’t happened. read more
