Why did Saladin's brothers have Turkish names?

I know Saladin was grown by Zengid who were Turk. I have not found any proof to say Saladin was Turk , or not. But his brothers names are really interesting : Turansah and Tugtekin. read more

I recommend you to read the historical books of Arabic authors who lived in the same era with Saladin. They mention that Saladin could speak Turkish, Kurdish and Arabic. His brothers' names were of Turkish origin, and he served Zengid Dynasty who was of Turkic origin. read more
