Why did so many people hate Harry Truman?

Truman was not hated by all. well thought of by most even back then. I came from a Democratic family and am a Republican now so I can honestly give you a balanced point of view. FDR picked Truman to be his VP because no one had ever heard of Truman, a former Haberdasher from Missouri and a former Captain in the US army in WW1. read more
