These people don't understand that their idea of black history isn't "black history." It's African History. Some curriculums may glean over a bit of Africa's history, in 7th grade, my teacher spent a week reviewing basic history of the continent which included some of the different cultures and tribal traditions, regional climate differences, food preparation and crops and Apartheid. read more
