Why is TOBLERONE chocolate popular in China?

Toblerone is the only one brand, which is of medium price and tastes good, available on Amazon in China. Its 100g black chocolate only costs no more than 20 RMB (c. 3 dollars). I'd say Amazon CN plays an important role in its popularity. read more

From my perspective, Toblerone now is far from popular in China Chinese people, including myself, do not even know the official Chinese name for Toblerone. (average Chinese have trouble keeping track of the name TOBLERONE, a localization name is very important) we simply called it"Swiss Triangle" instead. read more

The toblerone chocolate that I buy in China is imported and made in Switzerland. However, that doesn't mean the toblerone that you by is the same as the one I buy. Always check the back and look for a big white sticker that gets put on all imported foods and translates the labelling into Chinese. read more
