Russia is already a democratic country with power being concentrated with President. In all regions, the local Governors are the kings in their jurisdictions. It will take little more time for the Russians to realize that more freedom and democracy is a prerequisite for development and complete integration with Europe. read more

Unlike Egypt, where a people who craved democracy were being oppressed by a ruthless dictator, the people of Russia have never desired democracy reminiscent of western society. If democracy is ever going to reign in the country, the Russians will have to want it for themselves. read more
