Can Hindus eat beef if it is not from an Indian cow?

I am a Hindu and I eat beef. I resides in Kerala state, southern part of India. Normaly we dont eat meat from cow, Beef here is the word for the meat of buffellow. And if you want to eat you can. That is absolutely not true, Hindus do eat beef, and a lot of Hindus have been doing so for ages. Hindus belonging to the wrongly labelled lower castes in Central India do eat beef. Hindus from south India, especially from Kerala have been eating beef for as long as we can remember. read more
