So in greater detail: spray paint of any brand or type I know of will adhere to almost any type of cardboard (exception — waxed cardboard used for very wet stuff like lettuce). Since you are using a surface that itself is not durability of the paint an issue. read more
Cardboard is very absorbent so it will absorb the spray paint and you won't be able to move it around with any tools after painting the cardboard. However if you seal the cardboard first, it may work better. read more
