From a strictly business perspective the traffic was expensive. They paid me a decent wage for 8 hours work but two or three hours a day was wasted in stop and go traffic. Portland's traffic has gotten much worse than it used to be 25 years or so ago but it still doesn't compare to Seattle. read more
