The end products of fatty acid oxidation are CO2 & H2O (that is carbon dioxide and water). This is true in a bomb calorimeter or in a human cell. Is the calorimeter the byproduct is heat, whereas in the cell the byproduct is the conversion of ADP and phosphate to ATP (another form of energy). read more
