The best places are in the south of Chile. If you go to Frutillar and Valdivia, then the attitude changes some what. The main problem with Santiago is the pollution. It was and maybe still is, the 5th most polluted city in the world. Now that I live here it is bearable, but I used to get headaches when we came here for shopping. read more
