The fanfic was first published, beginning with Draco Dormiens, in 2000, whereas Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (movie) wasn't released until 2001. Even then, Tom Felton was 13-14 years old, and clearly played an 11-year-old Draco in the fim. He had not grown "hot" yet, as so many people are posting why Draco is so popular. read more
