What did Christ have to say about eating meat?

When I first began to study the bible, the people I studied with told me that it was wrong for me to be a vegetarian. The Bible says a lot about meat but the only passage I look to as a Christian that prohibits eating meat is the letter of James and the Jerusalem council to the Gentiles in Acts 15:29 which says not to eat meat sacrificed to idols or strangled animals. read more
