What does it take to get into UC Berkeley, UCLA, or UCSD?

I applied for four schools: UCI, UCLA, UC Berkeley, and UCSD. I got into all 4 and did my undergrad at UCLA 05–09′. Hrmmmmm to get into the UC system. Berkeley and UCLA are widely considered the top two schools in the UC system (with Berkeley slightly higher in rankings and prestige). But that doesn’t necessarily make them better. Your roommate speaks some truth in that Berkeley (along with UCLA) has significantly higher overall rankings than UCSB or UCSD. read more
