Why do German parents let their children play with knives?

I'm laughing so hard right now. My mother was German...she did not let me play with knives. To lump " German parents " together.... With every single German parent to ever walk the face of this earth is rather..., strange.... Don't u think? read more

In America, as our kids become adolescents, we believe it's time to start letting them go and giving them their freedom. We want to help them be out in the world more and we don't want to burden them with family responsibilities.
